Shipping Policy

At Rudra Jewellers, we strive to deliver your orders safely and on time.

 

1. Coverage Area

We ship pan-India. International shipping is not currently available.
 
 

2. Order Processing

– Standard orders: Dispatched within 24-48 hours of payment confirmation.
– Custom or made-to-order pieces: 7-14 working days before dispatch.
 
 

3. Delivery Timeline (from dispatch)

– Metro cities: 3-5 working days.
– Tier 2 / Tier 3 cities: 5-7 working days.
– Remote / North-East / Hill regions: 7-10 working days.
 
 

4. Delays Beyond Our Control

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Delays caused by factors outside our control are not the responsibility of Rudra Jewellers, including but not limited to:
 
– Courier service disruptions, strikes, or operational delays.
– Adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or acts of God.
– Government-imposed restrictions, lockdowns, or curfews.
– Civil unrest, riots, or strikes.
– Customs holds or regulatory checks.
– Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.
– Unavailability of the recipient at the delivery address.
 
We will keep you informed of any known delays and work with our courier partners to ensure the fastest possible resolution. No refund or compensation is applicable for delays arising from the above causes, except where the shipment is confirmed lost in transit (covered under our insurance policy).
 
 

5. Shipping Charges

Flat rate ₹350 per order, anywhere in India. Charges include insured courier service and signature on delivery.
 
 

6. Courier Partners

We dispatch via specialised secured logistics providers including BVC Logistics, Sequel Logistics, and equivalent insured carriers approved for precious cargo.
 
 

7. Signature on Delivery

All deliveries require signature confirmation from the named recipient. The courier may request a government-issued photo ID at the time of delivery.
 
 

8. High-Value Orders (₹2,00,000 and above)

As per Section 269ST of the Income Tax Act, 1961, the buyer’s PAN details are mandatory for any order valued at ₹2,00,000 or above. Orders without PAN details will not be processed beyond this threshold.
 
 

9. Order Tracking

A tracking number will be sent to your registered email and mobile number once your order is dispatched.
 
 

10. Failed Delivery

If a delivery is unsuccessful after three attempts, the order will be returned to our warehouse. Re-shipping will incur additional courier charges.
 
 

11. Damage or Loss in Transit

In the event of damage or loss:
– Notify us within 24 hours of receiving the package.
– Refuse delivery if the package is visibly tampered with or damaged — and inform the courier on the spot.
– Email us at help@rudrajewels.in with order ID, photos of the package, and your contact details.
 
 

12. Hallmark Jewellery

All gold jewellery shipped from Rudra Jewellers is BIS-hallmarked.
