Q: Is every piece BIS Hallmarked?

Yes. Every gold jewellery piece sold by Rudra Jewellers is BIS Hallmarked engraved on it.



Pricing & Payment


Q: How is the price of jewellery calculated?

Price = (Daily gold rate × weight in grams) + Making charges + Wastage + GST. Gold rates are refreshed daily based on the live market rate. The exact breakup is shown on every product page.



Q: Why does the gold rate keep changing?

Gold is a globally-traded commodity. Its price fluctuates daily based on international rates, currency movement, and demand. The price you see at the time of checkout is locked in for your order — even if rates rise the next day.



Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We accept online payments via UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and net banking through a secure PCI-DSS compliant gateway. Cash on Delivery is available for select orders. For high-value orders, bank transfer is also accepted.



Q: Is Cash on Delivery available?

Yes, COD is available for orders up to ₹50,000 within select PIN codes. Higher-value orders require prepayment via online payment or bank transfer, due to courier-side insurance and security requirements.



Shipping & Delivery

Q: How long does delivery take?

Delivery typically takes 5-7 working days for metro cities and 7-10 working days for tier 2/3 cities. Custom-made or made-to-order pieces may take 7-14 working days before dispatch. Detailed timelines are in our Shipping Policy.



Q: Is shipping secured?

Yes. All shipments are dispatched via specialised secured logistics partners (BVC Logistics, Sequel Logistics, and equivalent) with signature on delivery.



Q: Do you ship internationally?

Not currently. We ship within India only. International shipping is planned for the future — subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when launched.



Returns, Exchanges & Buyback


Q: Can I return or exchange my jewellery if I change my mind?

Yes. Ready-stock jewellery can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of delivery, provided the BIS hallmark, certificate, and tax invoice are intact. Custom-made or engraved pieces are non-returnable. Full conditions are in our Refund & Return Policy.



Q: Do you offer buyback of previously purchased pieces?

Yes. We offer buyback of Rudra Jewellers pieces with intact hallmark and original tax invoice. Buyback value is calculated as (current gold rate × verified weight) – wastage – refining charges. Contact us for a specific quote.



Custom Orders & Sizing

Q: Can I order a custom-designed piece?

Yes, we accept custom orders. Share your design idea via WhatsApp or email — we will revert with a quote, estimated weight, and timeline (typically 14-21 days). Custom orders require 50% advance payment and are non-returnable once production begins.



Q: How do I find my correct ring size?

You can either: (a) measure the inner diameter of a well-fitting ring you already own and match it to our size chart on the product page, (b) request a free ring sizer kit via WhatsApp, or (c) visit our any nearby jewellery store for in-person sizing.



Care & Support

Q: How should I care for my gold jewellery?

Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, chlorinated water, and harsh chemicals. Store each piece separately in a soft pouch to prevent scratches. Clean periodically with a soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, bring it to us — first cleaning is complimentary for our customers.
